WELCOME TO THE ART SANCTUARY GALLERY
Welcome!
Opening Night
"The Art Sanctuary is a place where the hassles and pressures of everyday can be replaced by the beauty and stillness of visual art. We provide art lovers an opportunity to bring beautiful art into their homes. You can experience the creation and meet the creator."

The Art Sanctuary Gallery is a unique community based art gallery free from the "hard sell" of other typical commercial galleries. It is managed and run by the artists themselves and visitors are free to talk to the artists about the works that are being exhibited and the creative process involved.

This space seeks to embrace an atmosphere of peace and contemplation in the unique setting of the Baptist Church at William Street Studios in Fairlight, Sydney. The artists who will be exhibiting their work and running the Art Sanctuary Gallery are from the local community, have impressive credentials and are well known within Australia and internationally. This is an opportunity for the community to have access to the diverse creativity that is at the core of this gallery.

The Art Sanctuary Gallery is currently closed!

Viewing is by appointment only.

Opening Night of Stations of The Cross 2008

The Art Sanctuary Artists Vivianne, Nadia and David

Station opening

Friday the 14th March the Stations of The Cross Easter Exhibition was opened Mike Frost one of the founders of the emergent church Small Boat Big Sea. Sixteen Artists have reimagined the Easter story with contemporary art. The result is a visually stunning meditation on the old tradition. Rather than literally depicting each biblical scene, the artists have taken the story as their inspiration and reflected on it imaginatively.

2007....What an amazing and wonderful year we had!
